Australian man charged after unwanted penis tattoo on 'friend'
63Amateur tattooist plays cruel 'joke' on mate
A 21 year old man from Queensland will face charges after inking an unwanted tattoo of a penis onto his mate's back.
The victim allegedly requested a yin and yang symbol and perhaps a dragon after being coerced by his friend, a Bundamba resident, to allow him to ink a tattoo design on his back.
Instead of the image he supposedly requested, he now has a 40cm drawing of a penis accompanied by a rude, misspelled slogan permanently etched into his back.
Police have stated that the pair had been involved in an argument before the tattooing occurred. The victim has also claimed that he was punched and forcibly removed from the house following the incident.
DC Paul Malcolm said that the victim is mortified by what has happened to him. It is estimated that it will cost the 25 year old man approximately $2000 for the removal of the obscene tattoo.
The 21 year old will appear before the Ipswich Magistrates Court on November 15, charged with 2 counts of assault occasioning bodily harm along with a charge relating to the Public Safety Act.
